AutoGPT
What if you could give a Chatbot a goal, and it would give itself instructions to reach that goal? Welcome to AutoGPT. It will break the goal down into tasks and execute them autonomously. It can also access the web and local files. Ask it to “market bananas” and it will:
It will just keep going and going to accomplish the goal.
The only problem - it doesn’t really work. It gets stuck in loops, doesn’t do a great job of synthesizing its findings in a very usable way, and doesn’t take course correction instructions well.
Still. This will improve quickly.

HuggingGPT
In a similar vein, HuggingGPT uses ChatGPT to figure out which domain specific AI model to use, route the tasks to the models, and synthesize the results.

Amazon has jumped into the generative AI game with Bedrock - “The easiest way to build and scale generative AI applications with foundation models (FMs)”. Amazon gives you access to Claude (Anthropic), Jurassic-2 (AI21Labs), Stable Diffusion (stability.ai), and Amazon Titan.
Intercom Launches ChatGPT for Customer Service
I wondered how long this would take. In their words:
A breakthrough AI bot that accurately and immediately answers customer questions, reducing support volume and resolution times.

Legislation
World governments are waking up.
Italy banned ChatGPT. Other European governments are looking at Italy’s reasoning and may follow suit. It may be un-banned soon if OpenAI complies with Italy’s requests.
The EU is developing an AI Act which is “steering the development of very powerful artificial intelligence in a direction that is human centric, safe and trustworthy”
Chuck Schumer is working on legislation to regulate artificial intelligence technology. The goal would be to develop resilient regulations that can adapt to the advancement of AI technology and balance the need for security, accountability and transparency with facilitating innovation.
